The original specimen is missing from the Linnean collections, the single present being Isopyrum fumarioides, now considered as Leptopyrum fumarioides (L.) Reichenb.

mesic, from the upper nemoral, western Palearctic

Fagetalia, Symphito-Fagion, Moehringio muscosae-Acerenion

R41 habitats from the upper nemoral (beech forests)

 

 

 

 

This is a western Palearctic and European endemic nemoral species, quite common in our caducifoliate woods in the spring. It resembles somehow Anemona nemorosa L. and flowers at the same spring time.

Between Moldovenesti and Pietroasa, Cluj county, on 28th of March 2010.
